Short History: Tagine (also known as Tajine) is a dish that comes from the Maghreb, a subsection of Northern Africa which is predominantly Muslim – it includes Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. Couscous is also a staple food of the Maghrebi region and is also popular in France, which was introduced by Maghrebi immigrants. This Tagine from The Vegan Taste will give you a great source of selenium, protein, antioxidants, and more.

Reheating Instructions: Transfer to a covered backing dish and heat at 350F for 8 minutes.
