Spaghetti and Meatballs

A comforting classic with whole wheat spaghetti, parmesan, zucchini, and meatballs

Short History: The origin of spaghetti and meatballs started with Italian immigrants coming to America in 1880 to 1920. The majority of immigrants were extremely impoverished, and had been spending 75 percent of their income on food in Italy, compared to only 25 percent in the U.S. Meat became more affordable to them, so meatballs became more popular than before. Spaghetti was also one of the only Italian ingredients that was available in the U.S., and so they began to put the two together and created spaghetti and meatballs! This meal from TVT will provide you with vitamin C, potassium, folate, vitamin K, and more!

Reheating Instructions: Warm in a pan over medium

Customer Comments:

“My favorite of the week. I liked the meatballs” – Chandrika Lo. from Glendale
