Short History Did you know that there is an International Day of the Nacho? October 21st! It is in honor of Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya, who created the Nacho in 1940 while living in Piedras Negras, Coahuila – right across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas. He created them when Mamie Finan, a regular at his restaurant The Victory Club, asked for a different snack than they usually had. When Finan asked what the new snack was called, he replied, “Well, I guess we can just call them Nacho’s Special.” Also, when you choose the Beyond Meat burger instead of a beef burger, you get an equal or greater protein content, less saturated fat, and no cholesterol, antibiotics, or hormones. Reheating Instructions: Warm the container contents over medium. Pour the ramekins of cheese sauce over the chips, then top with the filling.
