A stew reminiscent of a comforting chick’n pot pie filling with shredded chick’n, carrots, peas, potatoes, & dumplings.

Short History: Dumplings are found in many different styles pretty much all over the world – they’re broadly defined as a dish that consists of pieces of dough wrapped around a filling. There isn’t even a specific way they have to be cooked – they could be baked, boiled, fried, simmered, steamed, etc. Chicken and dumplings are a very common comfort food, particularly in the Southern and Midwestern United States, but it is most likely from French Canada during the Great Depression. This vegan variation from The Vegan Taste will provide you with Vitamin A, C, & K, fiber, iron, manganese, and more!

Reheating Instructions: Bring to a simmer and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
