Bricklayer Tacos

Tacos with mushrooms, potatoes, jackfruit, and poblano chiles in a jalapeno tomato sauce.

Short History: “Bricklayer Tacos” get their name from the Spanish word albañil, or bricklayer, as tacos like these are a common meal served at lunchtime. They are sold by street vendors who set up outside of construction sites. They are now served in restaurants and taquerías all over Mexico. These tacos from The Vegan Taste will provide you with antioxidants, selenium, vitamins A, C, & K, magnesium, and more!
