Chaat

Chickpeas and potatoes with chaat masala, flatbread, and three chutneys.

According to culinary anthropologist Kurush Dalal, the Chaat originated in northern India (now Uttar Pradesh) in the late 17th century during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. In India, “chaat” is a word that describes more than just a set of snacks: It’s a way of life, and a category of food that hits practically every element that makes something craveable—sweet, sour, tangy, spicy, and crunchy. This meal from TVT will provide you with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and more!

Reheating Instructions: Warm the chaat in a pan over medium
